What information do we collect?

Through the website
Our website offers a page for anyone to apply for an open job position at Litentry. For us to consider your
application,   we   collect   your   first,   last   name   and   email,   LinkedIn   profile,   phone   (optional),   location
(optional), salary expectation (optional) and resume that includes your previous work experience and
education. We assess this information against the job requirements for our recruitment purposes only. The applied
legal basis for these activities is our legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6.1.f) and under § 26 BDSG.
We will store CVs and related job data for a period of 6 months. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if we keep
such information for a longer period of time, we will ask for your consent.
Your personal data will be shared with colleagues within Litentry where it is necessary for the processing
purposes set out above. This includes, for example, your line manager for their management of you and
the HR department for recruiting purposes.

Through   the   website   you   can   be   invited   to   join   our   Discord   channel    here   We   only   require   the   username,   in   which   additional

Users requesting early access
Both Partners and website users can request early access through our contact form here. We need your
first and last name or Pseudonymous, your substrate address, the Blockchain you interact with, what
credentials you wish to prove your identity,  s in the “Tell us a bit about yourself” whether you are: A web3
entrepreneur  or A web3 user.
Option for “A web3 entrepreneur”, the following is collected: name of company or product, web address
of company or product, mission of the company or product, size of your community or audience, email
address and telegram handle.
Option “A web3 User”, the following is collected:   email address, twitter handle, and which web3
community you are most active in.

Which data we will retain
We will retain documents containing personal data:

How do we use cookies for website visitors?
Our career website does not contain any cookies. When you use our website we collect information from
you automatically through the provider Plausible. Plausible tracks web traffic without tracking individual
visitors. All of the data that plausible collects is aggregated data and does not contain any personal
information. Through Plausible we collect the following data points: Page URL, HTTP referrer, Browser,

How to manage cookies
n general, you can set your browser not to accept cookies, and the website tells you
how to remove cookies from your browser.

Privacy policies of other websites
Our career website does not contain any cookies but we do have links to other websites. Our privacy
policy applies only to our website, so if you click on a link to another website, you should read their
privacy policy.

Use of Google Fonts
The Google server needs to collect the IP addresses of your website users to send them the
Google Font file. IP addresses are considered personal data under Art. 4 of the GDPR.
Your rightsYou have to know what you’re signing up to, and we’re being very open about it. If you require additional

You may exercise GDPR rights regarding your personal data.
In particular, you have the right to:
● Object   against   the   processing   of   your   information.   If   we   process   your   information   for   our
legitimate interests (e.g., for direct marketing emails or for our marketing research purposes), you
can object to it. Let us know what you object against, and we will consider your request. If there
are no compelling interests for us to refuse to perform your request, we will stop the processing
for such purposes. If we believe our compelling interests outweigh your right to privacy, we will
clarify this to you.

you can obtain the disclosure of the data involved in the processing, and you can obtain a copy of
the information undergoing processing.
● Verify your information and seek its rectification. If you find that we process inaccurate or out-of-

We use SSL encryption on a day to day basis  to protect information online and do everything in
our power to protect user information offline. We perform staff training on the value of personal
information, and practice need-to-know principles, this means that only selected staff members
have access to personal information and practice integrity and confidentiality.
International data transfers

Our Website and Services are distributed across the globe.
Where we store our information is located on SageHR servers which are hosted in the United States. Under the GDPR, personal
data sent or accessible outside the EEA or Adequate countries are considered international
data transfers and companies need to implement appropriate transfer mechanisms.
We take steps to ensure that where your information is transferred outside of the EEA or the UK
by our service providers and hosting providers, appropriate measures and controls are in place
to protect that information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations
such as signing data protection agreements and practicing data minimization.
